Government officials are going to enjoy free calling direct from their internet enabled mobile phones apart from message broadcasting, instant messaging (IM), automatic caller location finding and respective department’s files synchronization.
REVE Systems, renowned Bangladeshi multinational software company, is going to facilitate the services through ‘Info-Sarker’ app underneath ICT ministry.
An agreement on this regard has been signed on Thursday at city’s Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in Agargaon, said a press release. Ministry officials including Information and Communication Technology state minister Junaid Ahmed Palak, ICT secretary Shyam Sunder Sikder, Bangladesh Computer Samity executive director S.M Ashraful Islam, National ICT infra-network for Bangladesh government Phase-II (Info-Sarker) project director (PD) and joint secretary Md. Saiful Islam along with REVE Systems’ CEO Ajmat Iqbal, Head of global sales Raihan Hossain and AGM of enterprise sales Ashadullah Uzzal attended the signing ceremony.
REVE Systems’ CEO Ajmat Iqbal describing the Info-Sarker app said there, “earlier we have developed intranet communication platform among the government offices in all layers across the country following more than 18,000 connectivity set up by the Info-Sarker to make government communication and file sharing easy and secure. The app is over the top of the project to connect the officials direct from their internet enabled Android and IOS operating systems-run mobile phones”.
“Circulating any message instantly is made here easy apart from collecting and saving respective department’s files”, he added. “The Info-Sarker app will also be working from anywhere of the world so that government officials can do necessary works and will be connected with his colleagues all-time while in training or in vacation”.
REVE Systems, which has also developed another app to report and manage violence against women and children for Info-Sarker earlier, has its Research and Development centers in Bangladesh as well as India.
